I'm definitely not a pizza connoisseur, so I'm not an authority on how this pizza ranks among New York pizza, but I loved it. You can choose between a 13" or a 17" (I had the former), and can choose toppings that go on the classic or a white pie. I had a classic with arugula and prosciutto. The crust was nice and airy, and the amount of sauce and mozzarella was perfect. The staff was super friendly too. We were there on a Thursday in November around noon, so not very buzzing, but that was kinda nice coming off of the crowded streets of Manhattan.

Okay we only got the small pie, so one less star for the unknown. The atmosphere is a bit hectic/ messy give the circumstances under the new surge of business (apparently Angelo's received a high review). So there's one less star.
The pie was the perfect size for two. A real thin middle with fresh mozzarella over a basil spiced pizza sauce with real nice flavor together with a full and fluffy crust makes this pie a perfect combination. I found myself taking one bite and folding the rest of the thin middle over the thick crust and chowing down on it like that... awesome and just delish( try it)!

This place is fine, fulfills its function of providing decent food fast, flipping tables quick so diners can make a show or move to their next stop on time. Service is great - speedy. The food is meh - not bad, but does not shine in a city filled with spectacular pizza options. My family was satiated and had enough time to stop for gelato before our matinee performance.

This little Manhattan gem is a must see for anyone who loves authentic Italian cuisine! Fresh ingredients, absolutely delicious! Excellent wine selection and the service was equally as amazing as the beautiful outdoor dining area aesthetic! Just minutes from Time Square, easily accessible for anyone who might have special needs. 5 Stars across the board, add this to your Little Taste of Italy foodie travel list! Kudos to their premier culinary team and wonderful server team!

I recently visited Angelo's Coal Oven Pizzeria in New York City, and I have to say, it was a fantastic experience! From the moment we walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the perfect tone for our meal.
We ordered the cheese pepperoni pizza, and it was nothing short of spectacular. It came out fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious. The crust was perfectly crisp, with just the right amount of char from the coal oven, while the cheese was gooey and flavorful. The pepperoni added a nice touch of spice, and every bite was a testament to their commitment to quality.
The service was also impressive. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed to enjoy our meal. It was clear that they take pride in their food and customer service.
Overall, Angelo's Coal Oven Pizzeria is a must-visit for anyone in NYC looking for an authentic pizza experience. With their delicious food and welcoming atmosphere, it's easy to see why this place has such a great reputation. I can't wait to return for another slice!
