Pizza, Drinks, and Good Vibes
I had a great experience at Beretta in San Francisco's Mission District. It's been a favorite spot since it opened in 2008, known for its pizzas, interesting drinks, and friendly vibe. It feels cozy and the drinks are really good. It's more than just a place to eat and drink, it's a place where people come together and hang out.
I visited Beretta for the first time for dinner with colleagues after our company retreat. We went on a late Tuesday afternoon, and despite the indoor dining area not being busy, we decided to sit outside. I started with a glass of white wine and a beet salad, which was delicious and made me realize I was still hungry. I ordered their Summer Risotto, while my colleagues went for pizza. The pies looked very good, and everyone was happy with their choices. My risotto was tasty and the portion was just right. I passed on dessert, but a couple of my colleagues who shared a Tiramisu and couldn't stop praising its taste and quality.
The service was excellent. Our orders arrived on time and as ordered. We never felt like our table was being ignored.
Overall, it was a very pleasant experience, and I definitely plan to visit the Valencia location again.
