Outstanding experience! The food was by far one of the best dinners I’ve had in my life. The service was excellent. I highly recommend the red fish. Cooked to perfection! The atmosphere was relaxed and not stuffy! The servers and wait staff were all very attentive - our drinks never went empty! Highly recommend going here!

Food was top notch and I highly recommend this place. Be aware it’s a bit on the pricey side but for a special occasion it’s well worth the money.

Took clients from California to showcase true Ft. Worth eating and Bonnell's did not disappoint. The food was excellent and the service superb. Our server did an excellent job providing recommendations and made sure that my clients dined like kings. I only wish I would have had room for dessert.

Last weekend, my family and I decided to dine at Bonnell’s, and let me tell you, it was an experience that should come with a complimentary laugh track! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was as warm as a freshly baked biscuit.
The menu had us all drooling like kids in a candy store. I mean, who knew that eating could feel like an Olympic sport? Between trying to decide who gets the last bite of the fried quail and debating the merits of the grilled elk versus the blackened redfish, we were practically in a culinary wrestling match. Spoiler alert: everyone won!
The food was absolutely delicious, with each dish tasting like it was crafted by a chef who clearly loves their job and has a flair for the dramatic. Every bite was a delightful surprise, and I half-expected a marching band to come out to celebrate our meal.
Our server was delightful, juggling our orders with the skill of a circus performer. She made sure our glasses were never empty and our plates were always full. I think she deserves a medal for managing our family's quirky requests with grace and humor.
Overall, Bonnell’s is a fantastic spot for a family dinner where you can enjoy great food, share a few laughs, and leave with a full belly and a happy heart. Just a heads up: be prepared for some friendly food debates and possibly a few food comas afterward!

FABULOUS! True Texas Fine Dining! My grandparents would have loved this and they were PICKY people.
As for atmosphere losing 1 star, that's because I have autism (full diagnosis), and the large wooden divider thing in the center of the dining area, to me felt like it was looming over my shoulder and made me uncomfortable.
Someone without my issues should appreciate it for what it was meant to do, make it seem like semi-private dining.
