I came here Saturday night for dinner with a group of 6 people. We sat outside for dinner! For appetizers we got the stack, and calamari. We also got drinks. And everyone in our party enjoyed the food! The food here is extremely delicious. I definitely recommend that you come here!
The food was amazing! I had the Surf n' Turf with 8oz filet on a bed of lobster rice. That bread pudding though.... it needs an award 🏆 it was phenomenal!!!
UPDATE: I spoke to the manager the next day and explained the situation over again. They did refund us for the pastas and made sure my concerns were heard and passed along to their perspective parties. I hate leaving a restaurant feeling used and disregarded, which is exactly what my friend and I experienced. To start, we got our salads. I ordered a house salad due to being vegan. When it came out, it had cheese on it, and I requested the cheese be taken off. They came back with a bowl of lettuce. Not only is that insulting toward my dietary restriction, it was embarrassing to ask them again to add the tomatoes and onions and spruce the bowl up that they just put down in front of me. For the dinner, my friend got the Rigatoni Carbonara and I got the LINGUINE SALISICCIA. The rigatoni carbonara was bitter and saturated in salt. The Linguine Salisiccia had the pasta undercooked, making it chewy and inedible. The server came around and asked us how was everything and we told him the issues mentioned above. He this proceeded to blame us as if we didn’t speak up sooner and tried to have us take it to go or substitute the dish. After declining, we discussed with the manager on duty about having the pastas taken off our bill, which he didn’t do and have us a shot of lemon cello in substitution. What a disgrace and just all around embarrassing situation and environment we were left in. I would not recommend this restaurant for the prices and lack of service with the issues we faced.
The food here is pretty mediocre, and at about $90 per person, way overpriced. On the positive side, the ambience and service are good. A side of delicious truffle fries with two dipping sauces, a spicy remoulade sauce and a cream horseradish sauce turned out to be the high point of the meal. Also, the red sauce that came with the meatball appetizer and the garlicky arugula that topped the chicken Milanese were quite good. However, there was a downside. The bread was awful. The meatballs and the chicken Milanese were tasteless, and the broccoli was nearly raw and cold. Some of the fingerling potatoes were undercooked, and they were all dry and unseasoned. Finally, the spumoni was far short of what you would expect from any Italian restaurant.
Great veal, and clam chowder. The wine list is well curated. Service us 5 star can't ask for more, the water boy must've been related to the flash, our eater glasses were topped up as soon we drank. Napkins folded, faster than the speed of light, as we got up to go to the restroom. Our server knew the food intimately. Can't ask for more. Prices were high, but we got what we paid for, well worth every penny.
