From Boyle Heights to the Fairfax District @canters_deli has been serving up authentic Deli Style food since 1931. After all these years I finally had a chance to experience the iconic Deli and their amazing food. Loved the atmosphere and the company. A great way to spend time in this part of Los Angeles.

The food was SO GOOD!!!!! Tuna melt was perfection!!!! Definitely need to go back and try a bagel with some bakery goodies! The pastrami was mighty delicious! I am usually not a fan of pastrami but I enjoyed this one!

I love Canter’s. I’ve been there several times and the food and service is always great. The fact that they have gluten free options is a huge plus. The atmosphere is great. I have to take one star off though because it definitely could be kept cleaner. At the end of the day, I’ll still go back.

Every time I find myself in the greater LA area, I make it a point to go to Canter’s Deli. Get the world’s best Lox platter which comes by default with two full bagels and the best whipped cream cheese on Earth. I get Matzo ball soup and a Vanilla Milkshake. They NEVER disappoint. Service is always the best, parking is free and safe (which matters more now, LA is a demilitarized zone. I was here a few years ago and it looks like a zombie apocalypse happened) Canter’s looks the same…great. Hold the line Canter’s. I’ll see you next time I’m in LA.

Wifey and I had a fabulous time in Hollywood for date night. It’s been a long time since we have been in the area and although we both a so cal natives we can’t recall ever trying Canter’s deli. The place is nostalgic from a time long gone. Keep that in mind it’s a diner that is open 24x7 and serves good meals. We ordered the Fairfax (pastrami and corned beef). Meat was good very lean tasty and soft. Bread not so. Just average. The pickles OMG got to have and then order seconds. The bakery has a lot of choices and all looked good. We didn’t try so I can’t rate. Service was good friendly and quick. Overall we felt a bit generous with a 4 start because well it was date night and we had a fun night with good late night meal.
