Nice local pizza place to grab a slice or dine in. They are remodeling the dining area, so they only have delivery and pickup as of March 1st, 2024, so call first if you're looking to dine in. Update the dining area has reopened, and it looks great. They added a bar area, so if you're looking for a few drinks after work and some appetizers, this is a nice neighborhood place that is open late. They are also set up to watch sporting events, and with their amazing pizza and wings, this is a great place to watch the Bears this season 🐻
Phenomenal Gluten Free pizza- incredible caution and safe for highly sensitive celiacs (significant other is) and tasty for non Gfree (like me!) Thin, artisan, and deep dish- all Gfree. Deep dish crust is a but crunchy on the edges, but I order it every time it's so good! We had a couple hiccups, potentially a new (but incredibly kind) server, but everything was sorted out without us even asking. Completely satisfied.
Chicago deep cheese pizza eaten in the US! The store was clean and the store employees were all friendly. We ordered two pizzas, and they explained everything in detail so we chose the delicious pizza. I will visit again when I visit Chicago
We are gluten free and hands down it’s the best deep dish pizza I have ever had. However this time we ordered the wings in addition to the pizza and they were not as good as usual they were dry and had too much pepper on them not a big deal. But the real disappointment of the night was the pasta. In the menu they have several options for gluten free noodle dishes. We ordered the gluten free spaghetti for my very picky 7 year old. I assumed it would be spaghetti because that’s what was advertised on the menu and they even offered gluten free angel air pasta and other choices. When it came it was penne… they just sub whatever you order for penne. Sooooo disappointed. That needs to be said in the menu. We paid over $10 for very sub par penne noodles with a terrible watery red sauce. I was too tired to complain but it was super upsetting. Don’t put it on the menu if you can’t actually make it. It should just say gluten free penne pasta… not spaghetti. they also really skimp on the gluten free bread. We had 5 ppl and we only got 4 tiny pieces.
The pizza was great! It tasted wonderful, they had a wide selection and it was well priced. They start you w some bread and olive oil, which tasted really good! They were extremely generous with cheese and the crust was very much like a butter crust on the thin crust pizza. 1 large pizza comfortably served 4 of us. Service was fine, it had a lunch vibe. Intimate spacing of tables and a single row. No bar, but lots of drink options.
