We visited Hillside Farmacy in Austin, Texas, during a trip and had brunch there—it was a wonderful experience! One of the first things we noticed was that there was no wait, which was a huge plus. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, making the whole meal even more enjoyable. The restaurant itself is super cute, with a modern and clean aesthetic that adds to its charm. The restroom setup was a bit unsettling when walking out, but it didn’t overshadow the overall experience. Our server was amazing—10 out of 10 for their friendly and attentive customer service. I would definitely come back on our next visit to Austin!
The food was the only thing that deserved the 3 stars. The food was just okay a little Bland but the ambiance and the service were amazing!! The spot itself is so adorable and has such a cute history (use to be an actual pharmacy!)
Very cute place! I would recommend coming here for breakfast/brunch. Visited once before and visited recently for lunch. The lunch had me a bit disappointed. Not very many options. Wish there were more options from the breakfast menu. I could not choose what I wanted so I got Mac and cheese. It was very good but very overpriced. Would come back again but probably only for breakfast. Service was okay. The environment is so nice love the decorations inside and the patio outside would be a very nice place to take pictures.
Parking was a challenge, but the ambiance and the meal made us forget that. I love the story behind the restaurant as well. The food was good, the ambiance was lovely, and the dinners were lively.
The cutest little spot. The history of the pharmacy is evident in every aspect of the decor in this restaurant. Plenty of seating indoor and out. The parking nearby was pretty open for a week day lunch. The drinks were spectacular honestly every drink was well balanced and delicious. The food was moderate. I had the chicken Cesar and the dressing was decent flavor but there wasn’t enough of it and the chicken was so dry it was hard to bite though. The Mac and cheese was very cheese but not very hot? Like it had sat for awhile. The espresso with the affogato was super smooth and rich. I’d shop here again but I’d only order something fried or cheesy, nothing that has the potential to be dry. The services was very polite but didn’t check on us often, never refilled our water, wouldn’t split the check and the whole experience took over an hour even though we all knew what we wanted right away and there were only 3 other tables.
