I recently dined at Umi Restaurant, and it truly deserves a 5-star rating. This upscale establishment offers a refined atmosphere, and I loved being surrounded by other elegant and sophisticated diners. I enjoyed a glass of champagne and white wine, both of which were delightful. While I tried a variety of rolls, the lobster appetizer stole the show—it was incredibly tasty! The vibe and ambiance were perfect, making it an ideal spot for an upscale date night. Despite its luxurious feel, the restaurant remains cozy with its low, intimate lighting. Overall, an amazing experience!
The food was really good! I had oysters in olive oil, hurricane tuna roll and also the donut. It was all very fresh and delicious. The atmosphere was very nice. I do feel like the staff was moving a bit too fast. But all in all it was good dining. I give them a 9/10
Always amazing best sushi in Atlanta with everything flown in from Japan daily. Never disappoints. Just remember they don’t do take out boxes.
I kept hearing from my friends, Best sushi in town, so I had to try. For parking just go like you're gonna go to chops and there's a valet. The door to the restaurant is hard to find. You're gonna come up the stairs or take the elevator to this fake grass open area, just walk straight across, that the entry is so hard to find is ridiculous, I had to ask a cop how the hell to get in this place. So they get a ding right there. Love the atmosphere very cool, very warming, very Asian authentic look, big, open space, huge sushi bar area. The service was amazing.l I was just on top of it. The sushi is excellent, and it is great quality. Everything we ordered from salmon to shrimp to tuna all delicious, all fresh. The only bad thing are the prices, ridiculous, just over the top. I will not go back, not because it was bad food or service in anyway, but I've got other sushi places that are just as good and half the price, but you go ahead and enjoy and bring your wallet cause you're going to need it.
Go to Chops and valet for $2 + tip. It’s the easiest way to get in. Take elevator up and walk across the green. The food and service were both amazing. It’s a little dark. Wish they had more light to read menu and see food (maybe I’m getting old lol) The Sake Aioli was my favorite. Will be back just for that!!
