Had an exceptional dinner at Whiskey Cake in Fort Worth last night with my wife, and we were thoroughly impressed with every aspect of the experience. The quality and flavor of both the food and cocktails were outstanding. I have to highlight their bone-in pork chop—quite possibly the best I’ve ever had. It was unbelievably succulent and packed with flavor. If you’re a fan of spirit-forward cocktails, I highly recommend the "Little Rye Lies." It’s perfectly balanced—not too sweet and just the right depth of flavor to pair with a great meal. I also have to mention the value here. For the quality and experience, the entire bill (drinks, entrees, and a slice of their must-have whiskey cake) came out to less than the steak dinner we had the night before at one of Dallas’ top steakhouses. Dare I say, we enjoyed this meal even more! Whiskey Cake is a gem we’ll definitely return to. Highly recommended!

I was thrilled to find that they were open on December 24th, and the food certainly exceeded my expectations. My daughter and I decided to share a variety of dishes during our first visit to Whiskey Cake. The young lady who took our order over the phone was incredibly attentive and took the time to describe the menu options in detail. The gentleman who handled our To-Go order was equally pleasant. I’m really looking forward to visiting the restaurant again soon!

The restaurant is beautifully decorated and lively. Service is quick and the waiters are easy going and responsive. Food was delicious and the drinks were amazing. I recommend to try the “Ruby Slippers” which tastes refreshing. The whiskey cake is a must-try. All in all good worth for money.

Whiskey Cake is undoubtedly one of my favorite restaurants in DFW. I’ve dined there for dinner many times and always left impressed, but I recently experienced their brunch, and it was fantastic. Our server Jake really made our visit special. His love for working there was evident, and his enthusiasm for the menu was infectious. He provided great recommendations on food and drinks, especially when it came to the bourbon selection. We kicked off our meal with the goat cheese fondue, which was an unexpected but delightful choice for brunch. It was creamy, tangy, and absolutely delicious. Following that, Jake suggested trying the Cold Fashioned. This cocktail, made with coffee-infused Buffalo Trace and whipped cream prepared at the table, was a game changer. It beautifully combined the richness of coffee with the smoothness of bourbon and was the perfect way to start the day. For my main course, I ordered the Short Rib Hash. It was superb, with tender short rib and a well-balanced mix of flavors. The portion was just right, providing a satisfying meal without being too heavy. Every dish we tried was clearly made with quality ingredients and careful attention to detail. Although I prefer their dinner offerings overall, I can confidently say I’ve never had a bad meal at Whiskey Cake. The combination of excellent service, delicious food, and great drinks truly makes it a standout in DFW. If you’re looking for a wonderful brunch experience, I highly recommend visiting Whiskey Cake and asking for Jake.

Excellent place with great food, ambiance, and service. Sarah was excellent and offered opinions and suggestions. The Tavern burger was cooked perfectly to my request and had lots of flavor. The brioche bread was so soft and lent it's own level of flavor. My wife's Chicken and Waffles were among the best we have ever tasted. There was flavor throughout every bite. The whiskey flight presentations were great, and the old-fashioneds were made well - however, a little on the sweeter side. Overall, they have a good selection of whiskeys.
